The little village has pulled 
off a unique pioneering feat!

An underground railway has been built to carry passengers from one part of the village to the other. Together with the traffic calming scheme, the Serfaus model ensures a superlative holiday experience and high quality of life. Four railway stations provide visitors to Serfaus with highly convenient get-on / get-off points. The free ‘Dorfbahn’ dispenses with wheels and rails to hover above the track on a 1mm film of air – so there’s no noise or vibrations!
